The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh has invited Online applications for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET- August, 2022) from the candidates interested as Teachers in State Government in Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools etc., in Andhra Pradesh. The APTET- August, 2022 online application starts from 16.06.2022 to 16.07.2022 at APTET 2022 website and  https://aptet.apcfss.in/ and at CSE Website at https://cse.ap.gov.in/DSE/Welcome.do

    APTET- August, 2022 Eligibitly 2022

    The candidates at the time of applying for APTET, August, 2022 should be in possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper-I (A) and (B)) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II (A) & (B)) as given in Information Bulletin. The candidates who are pursuing final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be, up to the academic year 2020-2022 can also appear for the APTET August,2022.

    AP TET 2022 Marks Weightage for APTET Scores in selection in District Selection Committee Recruitment:

    20% Weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government. In other words, 20% Weightage is for APTET score and 80% Weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for drawing up the selection list.

    AP TET 2022 EXEMPTION FROM PASSING APTET :

    Teachers who were appointed before NCTE notification dt:23.08.2010 by the Competent Authority in Govt./ Local Authority as per Recruitment Rules prevalent at that time are exempted from appearing for TET. However, Teachers working in Private Schools whose appointments were not approved by the Competent Authority are not exempted from passing TET. Such Teachers of Private Unaided Schools shall appear for TET conducted by either the State Government or Central Government. In respect of non approved Teachers working in Private Aided Schools, they shall invariably appear for TET conducted by the State Government only.

    AP TET 2022 MARKS MEMO / AP-TET August 2022 CERTIFICATE VALIDITY PERIOD:

    The AP TET Marks Memo and Certificate of APTET–August, 2022 shall be made available on APTET website only. There is no restriction on the number of attempts and a person can take attend any number of times for acquiring APTET Certificate. A person who has qualified APTET may also appear again for improving his/her score. In accordance with the NCTE guidelines the APTET certificate shall be valid for life time in accordance with NCTE guidelines dated: 09.06.2021 as amended by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.69, Dated:25.10.2021. The validity of TET qualifying certificate acquired prior to 09.06.2021 shall also valid for life time as per G.O.Ms.No.68, Dated: 25.10.2021.
