The Andhra Pradesh state government has announced the health cards and scheme to all state government employees and pensioners also vide Go.MS.No.174, 175 and 176 dated:01.11.2013 with the payment of the premium of Rs 120/- and Rs 90/-, respectively for gazette employees and non-gazetted employees categories.

Eligibility Criteria for Health cards :
Employees Health Care Fund Scheme is intended to provide cashless treatment to all the State Government employees including the State Government pensioners, along with their dependent family members through a network of empanelled hospitals of Aarogyasri Health Care Trust with Following categories of beneficiaries
Serving :
All regular State Government Employees.
Provincialised Employees of local bodies
Retired :
All service pensioners
All Family pensioners without dependents
Re-employed service pensioners
Serving :
All regular State Government Employees.
Provincialised Employees of local bodies
Retired :
All service pensioners
All Family pensioners without dependents
Re-employed service pensioners
AP state government employee Family members eligible criteria for Heath cards :
The following will constitute the family :
Parents (either adoptive or biological, but not both).
One legally wedded wife and her dependent parents in case of a male employee/ service pensioner.
Husband and his dependent parents in case of a female employee/ service pensioner.
wholly dependent legitimate children (including step children and adopted children).
Dependency will have the following meaning :.
In case of parents, those who are dependent on the employee for their livelihood.
In case of unemployed daughters, those who are unmarried or widowed or divorced or deserted.
In case of unemployed sons, those who are below the age of 25 years or disabled with a disability which renders them unfit for employment.

Pre - existing diseases :
All diseases shall be covered from day one. A person suffering from any disease prior to the inception of the contract shall also be covered.
Out-Patient cover :
Chronic OP services only are available under EHF currently. For other OP services visit your nearest Government Hospital.
In-patient cover :
"Listed Therapies" for identified diseases in various categories are provided. Network Hospitals will provide free follow-up services to the patients under follow-up packages as specified.
