The Sony has launched the new Sony Xperia Z with bright full HD screen of 5 inches and highest pixel density of 443 ppi (1080x1920 pixels). The BRAVIA TV technology engineers has developed the screen. To cover the screen the front and back panels are made of glass and skeleton frame is made of tough glass fibre poly amide. The Sony Xperia Z is a water and dust resistant which is useful even in the rain for recording videos and snaps. The Sony Xperia-Z works with Google Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which is useful to run multiple apps and enjoy fast web browsing. Sony Xperia Z supports the battery backup for talk time up to 11 hours and standby time for up to 550 hours. Sony Xperia Z comes with 2GB ram and internal storage up 16GB and it also supports expandable memory up to 32GB. It has powerful 13.1 megapixel Cyber Shot camera and 2MP Front-facing camera for 3G Video calling and snaps. The High Dynamic Range technology was introduced in this mobile which helps to take better photographs during high contrast situations also and a digital zoom of 16x, face detection, Geo-tagging, red-eye reduction, sweep panorama and some other features are available. This phone is yet to be released in India and official pricing is not yet announced
